The '64 Tempest goes for its first ride of the season. Terry, in Chinese thong sandals and red nail polish, cruises the countryside shifting gears until she stalls out at an intersection. Because she's in the way she frantically pumps trying to get it started. The starter is weak (ever since Jacqui's Junker) and it just won't turn over. After about 10 minutes, a guy stops and offers to help. He explains to her that the car is flooded and tells her to quit pumping and just hold the pedal in. It's hard for her not to pump so much so she tries some different pedal techniques. Finally the car starts and she makes it back home. This video is 100% real, not manipulated or planned in any way (it was supposed to be a driving video). Even the good samaritan was an innocent passerby who believed us when we said we were videotaping the car's first spring ride.
